An action research project on risk managing financial services

Partner Organizations

The project aims at pilot testing risk managing financial products at field level in partnership with microfinance activities. This means designing and testing of innovative financial products that will help poor women to better cope with the risks they are facing in their day-to-day life.

The project collaborates with 4 main partners: TYM Fund, Dong Trieu Women Assistance Fund, Ninh Phuoc Development Women Assistance Fund and  and Ninh Phuoc Development Women Assistance Fund and the Netherland Development Organization (SNV).
 

1. TYM

Outreach:                     23 branches in 8 provinces in Red River Delta,                                        North East and North Central Coast
Number of clients:     26,767
Product pilot tested:   Flexible Voluntary Savings
Pilot tested sites:       2 branches; Me Linh 7 in Me Linh district, Vinh                                        Phuc province and Soc Son 1 in Soc Son                                        district, Hanoi

Pilot tested sites:        10 commune funds in Dong Trieu district
